Stewart Island

Below the southernmost point of the South Island lies Stewart Island, a mecca for trampers and wildlife lovers alike. We were only able to spend two days there, but it is officially the furthest south I've ever gotten, and could get I guess since the next closest body of land south is Antarctica.

Nils attempting to cross what was an extremely cold stream while walking on his hands...didn't prove too simple and I have some videos proving so.

Another midair picture...

Taking a break from tramping all day to ponder the existence of what looks to be the worlds largest chain-link.

True to form, using a laptop as a pillow in the back of Nils' van.
